Autumn Adventures!

So apparently being jobless has freed me up to see my precious friends!! Kristen came to Macon for the Susan G. Koman Race for the Cure. It was awesome!! AND I got to see one of my youth, Ellie, run in the race! Definitely a fun time!

Then there was this little thing called the Casting Crowns concert!! Even though my youth are crazy, they were tons of fun at the concert!

Next stop, Milledgeville! I did not get to see any current Milledgeville people, I got to walk around campus and read some at Metropolis! It was a magical blast from my past!

And lastly, I headed to Roswell to see the one and only Amy Harwood! Now I counted it up, and before this visit we had seen each other for only about 12 hours the last year and a half! Now that is just crazy! This time I got to spend 2 days with her! Crazy awesome! We walked around the Stations of the Cross and took some awesome pictures, made yummy cinnamon rolls/cookies, and went to Meredith and Peter's Halloween party as an '80s chick and Adele!

So what have we learned? I have learned that I wish that I did not have to get a job and could just travel around seeing all of my friends :)

So Sophisticated

I am now teaching the Junior High youth at church and I needed to put together my lesson and since the house has TV and the internet and Pinterest I went to Joshua Cup. It was so nice to just sit and read! If only the coffee house wasn't 20 minutes from my house!

I Got a Package!

I received the best package ever this week! This lovely mirror was made by none other than Amy Harwood. I tried to be artsy and take a picture of me taking a picture! haha AND as you can see she has decorated my room because the mirror matches the earring holder she made me 2 years ago! I have decided that when I get my own place I will decorate my room blue and black since I already have a start thanks to my dear friend Amy!

Life Since Project 365

Since finally finishing Project 365 I am still looking for a job. I have 5 applications out now for jobs in state governments for forensic science. One interesting job application is for Firearms Forensics at the GBI! I talked to Emily and she said they hire people who have no experience with guns, which is good for me, and I thought that it would be so exciting! So being jobless at the moment and since government jobs take forever to get back to people, I have decided to try to take more pictures and see more things. So here are some sky pictures!

A Year and 9 Months

I know my project 365 lasted 9 months longer than it should have, but I have gotten some amazing photos throughout this time. This year and 9 months has been hard, fun, sad, happy, tiring, exhilarating, and beautiful. I have lost people in my life, gained people, missed people, and reunited with people. I have grown up, forcefully, but gracefully. Adult life can be hard and stressful and I may miss being younger with my friends, but I would never change how it has happened. I have learned that God knew exactly what He was doing even if I thought it was crazy. I will have pain in my heart, but precious friends to ease that pain. God has shown me how amazing He can make my life and what amazing paths he has set for me. I have worked for CVS, quit CVS, applied for school, and gotten rejected from school. Every decision and rejection leading me closer to where God wants me to be. I can only hope I am following His will for my life because I know that His will is what's best. I have learned beautiful scripture to follow when I am lost and I know some pretty awesome people to call when I can't find my way out. Thank you all for being in my life and by my side.
